Veio com Giardia - parasita intestinal (facto comprovado pelo Veterinário, já que as fezes com sangue começaram no dia seguinte a chegar a minha casa, e a Giardia está presente em águas paradas, algo que não existe nem em minha casa, nem ao redor; pesando ainda o facto de andar sempre ao meu colo). Teve algumas recaídas e pelo menos uma vez por mês tinha visita ao veterinário, especificamente devido ao parasita. Após uns meses, fui contactado por outros donos, afirmando que existiam casos de displasia na ninhada, algo que me surpreendeu, já que a criadora sabia dos mesmos, e nunca contactou ninguém para alertar a situação. Feito o despiste, felizmente ao meu cão não foi detectada, estando presente uma “alteração articular”, tendo a veterinária desaconselhado fortemente a criação, já que poderia passar para os filhos através dos genes. Após alguma pesquisa, verificámos (alguns donos), que os relatórios enviados pela criadora eram falsificados (facto comprovado pelos respectivos veterinários que supostamente tinham assinado os mesmos relatórios) - estes, assim como a OMV, apresentaram queixa-crime, por falsificação de documentos e usurpação de funções. Desaconselho fortemente a Quinta da Éguada e estou disponível a quem necessite, para mostrar todos estes factos. I picked up my dog in May 2020 at Quinta da Éguada. It came with Giardia - intestinal parasite (fact proven by the Veterinarian, since the bloody stools started the day after arriving at my house, and Giardia is present in stagnant water, something that does not exist either in my house or around; still weighing the fact that he is always on my lap). He had some relapses and at least once a month he had a visit to the vet, specifically due to the parasite. After a few months, I was contacted by other owners, stating that there were cases of dysplasia in the litter, something that surprised me, as the breeder knew about them, and never contacted anyone to alert the situation. Once the screening was done, luckily my dog was not detected, with a “joint alteration” being present, and the veterinarian strongly advised against breeding, as it could pass on to the children through the genes. After some research, we found (some owners) that the reports sent by the breeder were falsified (a fact proven by the respective veterinarians who had supposedly signed the same reports) - they, as well as the OMV, filed a criminal complaint for falsifying documents and usurpation of functions. I strongly advise against Quinta da Éguada and I am available to anyone who needs it, to show you all these facts.
