Quinta Das Piteiras

Wat een geweldige 11 dagen hebben wij gehad in deze prachtige b&b! Mooie nieuwe kamer, heerlijk terras, superschoon, rustgevend, fijne bedden, ruime badkamer, voortreffelijk ontbijt (met elke dag wat nieuws uit eigen tuin) en bovenal kidsproof! Ons zoontje van 2 heeft een heerlijke tijd gehad, alles is aanwezig om hem te vermaken en te verzorgen (babybedje, aankleedkussen, speelgoed, fietsje). Bovendien is er een heerlijke tuin met zwembad en ligt de b&b op fijne (rij)afstand van mooie stranden en leuke stadjes (o.a. Silves, Lagos, Sagres) Kortom een prachtige plek in de Algarve dat gerund wordt door super vriendelijke en fijne hosts Roberto en Martha. We hebben een vakantie gehad die we niet snel gaan vergeten. Een dikke aanrader!

Een fantastisch verblijf, waaraan we voor altijd mooie herinneringen zullen koesteren. Geweldige ontvangst en gastvrijheid tijdens ons verblijf. Dit lieve echtpaar werkt als een geoliede machine samen om de gasten zoveel mogelijk in de watten te leggen. Het ontbijt was echt verwennerij, met heerlijke en dagelijks wisselende lekkernijen. Extra leuk omdat het veelal zelfgemaakt was en/of met producten uit eigen tuin. Voor Martha was niets teveel gevraagd en Roberto deelt graag zijn passie voor alles wat groeit en bloeit in de tuin. Ligging is centraal met zowel stranden als andere activiteiten binnen handbereik. Silves is een bijzonder stadje met veel cultuur en leuke restaurantjes. Aanrader!!!

Wat een fijne B&B. De uitbaters Roberto en Martha zijn zeer gastvrij en doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Hun ontbijt is uitgebreid, alles vers en met liefde klaar gemaakt. De rondleiding door de moestuin van Roberto was zeer leerzaam en gaf een goed inkijkje hoe ze alles met veel passie doen. Ook de loslopende kippen geven het geheel een zeer huiselijk en gastvrij gevoel. Silves is een perfecte uitvalbasis voor allerlei leuke uitstapjes.

A wonderful place to stay. Loved every minute of it. Martha and Roberto gave us very warm welcome and were the best hosts during our two night stay. Their Quinta is beautiful, comfortable and they have put so much thought into the design process of the common areas and the guest bedrooms and bathrooms Our room had a huge superking size double bed and was very comfortable. There is air conditioning for those days or nights when it is very hot. Two bedside tables with drawers and table lambs. A good size wardrobe and a little kitchenette area with a coffee machine, kettle, cupboards with glasses, crockery etc and a fridge. There was a lovely terrace outside with a table, two chairs and a sun umbrella where you can watch the sun go down. The shower room was a very good size and tiled all over and there was a window. The shower area was large and the shower was powerful. I loved tiles they had chosen. Outside each guest room is a terrace area with tables, chairs and a sun umbrella. On the other side overlooking the lovely garden is beautiful swimming pool and decking area area with with sun loungers and umbrellas. The garden is beautifully laid out with lots of fruit trees, mature shrubs and bushes. Martha and Roberto's 11 chicken roam in the garden and produce the tastiest eggs that are used for the breakfasts and when Martha bakes cakes. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of cereals, cold ham, salami, chorizo, flat cheese, Portuguese cheeses, yogurts, bread, rolls, delicious homemade jams. Freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee or teas and every day a different home made cake. And also eggs from their chickens. We asked Roberto to cook us a meal on our first night and he kindly agreed. We had a delicious three course meal that was as good as any restaurant. We started with a couvert of fresh bread, homemade herby butter (their own herbs from their vegetable garden), olives and then homemade vegetable soup. The main course was Portuguese pork with clams which was delicious. A mix of porco, clams, little cubes of fried potatoes with a flavouring including garlic and paprika. Very tasty. We loved it. The portion sizes were huge and the main course could easily have fed three people. We also had some tasty red wine. There was a choice of dessert and my husband had the cream tart and I had a orange mousse. Both were delicious and very generously portioned. We loved our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it. You couldn't ask for nicer hosts. We wish Martha and Roberto well with this enterprise.

Our recent stay was amazing. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable and the breakfast was really the highlight. What's better than the fresh organic eggs from the property? We also enjoyed amazing sunset every night on the deck. The proximity to Silves historical town is a huge plus and it was an easy drive to many beaches.

The accomodation is completely new and very comfortable. Stunic view from the terasse, chicken picking around and many beautiful trees in the garden. Silves is just 5 minutes away by car, beaches can be reached easily. The host are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing: freshly prepared with many local ingredients and many products selfmade. We can definitly recommend the accomodation!

Wonderful quinta with amazing hosts! Everything was like in the pictures: very clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds and the breakfast is a highlight: nicely prepared with fresh vegetables and eggs from the garden. And in the evening we enjoyed great sunsets from the patio of our room. This is definitely a hidden gem and we will come again. Thank you Martha and Roberto for sharing your little paradise with guests.

Heartwarming and very welcoming hosts with an eye for the detail! Very comfortable and clean room and bathroom with all you need. A big varitey for breakfast that is included! A balcony, a pool and hammocks to chill for a little bit. I would always come back to stay again :-) A good place to stay to explore Silves or the nearby coast if you don't want an ugly looking skyscraper hotel and loads of people.
