★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally I had the opportunity to try this place. The dining room is well decorated and the fireplace gives a great atmosphere. We tried fish and meat dishes and both was great. The wine was superb with a good price. Paid about 30€ per person with a starter, two main dishes, two wines and dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regarding the restaurant not the vineyard, we experienced the very worst customer service and appalling attitude from the staff. Made to wait outside for 15 minutes after our reservation time and told we had to wait because the staff are eating. When finally allowed in the attitude towards us was shocking. We explained out displeasure in a calm manner to be told he couldn't care if we didn't want to keep our reservation and waved his hands in petulant fashion. Zero understanding of our frustration. For what has been a good restaurant in the past and for a restaurant that is meant to be one of the best in the area, this is far from acceptable. I will never visit again, nor will my family or friends and I urge any reader of this review to do likewise. There are many family run restaurants in the area that truly deserve our and your custom and will prepare good food for a very reasonable price and with outstanding customer service. Have a great evening eating out with friends and family at one of the alternative restaurants, rather than being treated like dirt at Cabriz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is a real gem. Traditional Portuguese dishes served up beautifully - the food was exceptional! Great service and nice atmosphere which provided for a splendid evening. I would highly reccomend a visit here and I will definitely be back again as soon as I can :)

This place is one of my go-to whenever I go to Portugal for vacation. It is like a gourmet restaurant but with larger portion sizes (not that I value that but know that many people do), high quality food, interesting menu options, good variety, professional service, beautiful decor, and according to my wine-connoisseur parents, good wine. Mind you, their prices are not at all bad - moderate but not expensive like many fancy/gourmet places. Dessert is also fun because it is never the same menu, so you are forced to try something new if you want a sweet! It is also nice to see that they invest in tourism students - they tend to have new waiters/waitresses reflective of new residences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a couple of times lunch or dinner here. The restaurant belongs to a winery and the wine is therefore very reasonable priced.
The fact that we visited this place more than once is because everyone understands the real meaning of hospitality and gastronomy in all aspects.
The food is good and the wine is too. Off course taste is very personal but the card offers enough choice. Also you het a complementary amuse from the house as also a glass of sparkling wine.
Excellent and very recommended.
