★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Quinta do Relógio é uma propriedade privada a necessitar de restauro e nela se destaca um belíssimo palacete, rodeado de plantas raras. A fachada é pintada com fachas transversais e ornamentada com motivos geométricos, sendo o conjunto de inspiração neo-árabe. A quinta tem uma longa e interessante história, apesar de serem raros os documentos anteriores a 1800. Foi neste palacete que o futuro rei de Portugal, D. Carlos, passou a lua-de-mel, com a futura rainha D. Amélia.
Quinta do Relógio is a private property in need of restoration and there is a beautiful mansion, surrounded by rare plants. The facade is painted with transverse facades and ornamented with geometric motifs, the set being neo-Arab inspired. The farm has a long and interesting history, although documents prior to 1800 are rare. It was in this palace that the future king of Portugal, D. Carlos, spent the honeymoon, with the future queen D. Amélia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This property was/is owned by Madonna. Was/is for sale for 8.5 million Euros. Engel & Volker was listing it back in 2019/2020. The office in Sintra has changed to another company and I do not see it listed anymore. It still may be for sale. She has stupid money so maybe she doesn’t care. The part you can not see from the road has been renovated and according to the real estate photos is amazing. Madonna bought it when her son was trying to get into soccer in Lisbon. It is said she has only been here a couple of times. She, also, has a palace in Lisbon. Not sure if the soccer thing worked out. I think not...
