★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my family here for a 2nd round, 1st time last year was a great experience so I wanted to go again.
This time Claudio was the host of our tour, we went through the whole process and wine cellars which was really interesting and Claudio answered every question without a doubt. Then we did the wine tasting, and explained how to taste the wine and remember the taste really well.
Thanks it was (again) a whole lotta fun!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quinta dos Vales is a nice and quiet retreat, as can be expected in this area. The lodgings on site were clean and easily accessible. The premises were clean, well manicured and the staff was friendly when available during working hours. You can sit overlooking parts of the vineyard while enjoying their available tastings. Just make sure you have a vehicle to get into town because it's a bit of a walk. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of ride-shares to get back and forth to explore, then need delivery for food if you do not buy groceries to keep on site. When possible, take the leisurely stroll around the allowable areas of the premises, look at the many sculptures, have a picnic, dip in the pool, there's even a small kids area with a play kitchen. If you need a quiet retreat, then this is the place. Tucked away in the corner, but only a quick ride to the surrounding restaurants, or entertainment not far away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have now stayed for two months at the Vines, a brand new small resort at Quinta dos Vales, where we bought a Villa Suite on the front row. Everything is fantastic: the Suite itself with top materials and a lovely terrace, the fabulous view over the vineyard, the design of the outdoor area and the two swimming pools. Moreover, the staff is wonderful and very helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet and we feel very safe and comfortable here. For us this is the best place for a holiday and to retire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best winery in the region. Family run and operated. We met the owner and his son and they run a really top class winery. The wine tastes amazing -- we were so impressed that we decided to invest in the winery by purchasing a lease on some of the land to produce our own wine. Definitely worth a visit. The rolling hills of the vineyard are really beautiful. Great place to relax, taste wine, and make some purchases as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wine estate. Top class accommodation. Top class, friendly and helpful staff. For our taste the wines are excellent too. There is interesting artwork exhibited around the estate. We enjoyed our usual walking and swimming activities and there are numerous other facilities.
