Superbe séjour entre amis en septembre 2017. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui sont des personnes généreuses et formidables. La maison, entourée d'orangers, est hyperpropre, spacieuse et très bien aménagée. Vous pouvez louer cette demeure les yeux fermés, sans aucune réserve. Philippe BRILLANT

Prachtige locatie. We zijn reeds vijf maal te gast geweest bij Martin en serilla en telkens weer staan we verstomd van de prachtige uitzichten. dicht bij olhao en alle bezienswaardigheden. we komen zeker nog terug Martin. bedankt voor alles frank, Christel, Elien, belgium

Urlaub mal ganz anders, abseits des Massentourismus in außergewöhnlicher Lage auf einer schönen Obstplantage. Die tolle Gartenanlage mit Pool und das geräumige Appartement laden zur absoluten Erholung ein! Das Herstellen von frischgepresstem Orangensaft aus den plantageeigenen Orangen war ein absolutes Highlight! Urlaub in der Quinta de Peixe Rei: jederzeit wieder ! ?⛱?

De très bon moments passés à la villa, Martin et son épouse ont étés vraiment appréciables, présents lorsqu'on à eut besoin d'eux et discret pendant notre séjour, leurs figues et oranges sont délicieuses et le cadre magique et reposant. Aucun point négatif sur notre séjour composé de 2 adultes et un enfant. A recommencer sans problèmes !!

This is a wonderful get-away-from-it destination. The house, the gardens, the pool, the surroundings, the view and the hosts all combined to make this a fabulous holiday.

Wow l cant put into words what an amazing villa you have it is so peaceful with great views and l just love The pool swimming everyday amazing and it was so lovely meeting you all , if you want to get away from it all , this is The płace to go and relax and l mean relax and we didnt have a car we had amazing taxis driver who would pick us up from The villa and would take us to Olhão which is about 10 mins away and pick us up again and there are lovely beaches near by which are beauitful . We had a few bbq at villa which was great . Once you have been you will want to go back , we cant wait to go back to this wonderful villa . We had fresh Oranges & lemons from their trees , its just perfect . Great weather ~ just love it . We stayed at Quinta de Peixe Rei for a week to celebrate the end of teenage daughters major school exams and it rates as one of our very best family holidays ever. The villa was perfect for our needs, plenty of space, very comfortable, in a traditional style and with everything required. Balconies all round meant you could chase or hide from the heat of the day as you wished. Martin and Serilia occupy the ground floor of the villa, via a completely separate access, which meant we had the comfort of knowing they were there if needed yet we barely saw them - both attentive and discreet. The gardens and pool really set this property apart. The infinity pool was crystal clear and perfectly maintained. The gardens had been further developed from the photos we saw before we booked and are absolutely pristine, a little oasis in a very dry part of the world. The description says that the gardens are magnificent but we hadn’t quite appreciated how beautiful they were until we arrived. Clearly an awful lot of hard work! Located rurally the property is very close to the wonderful Olhão and we recommend regular visits to the morning markets to pick up fresh food for the BBQ - in a sheltered corner of the garden. We had expected to roam far afield, but the villa and gardens/pool were so nice we tended to explore nearby for half a day and spend the rest of the day by the pool. This area of the Algarve is a perfect mix of interesting places to visit, with history, cafes, gelaterias and restaurants aplenty, without being too touristy and in the end we only made it as far as the Spanish border to the east, Loule to the west and Culatra to the south. We’ll be recommending this villa to friends and family, especially as we could fly from our local airport and so have lunch at home and supper in Quinta de Peixe Rei. 25 mins drive from Faro airport (using Martin’s expert directions) with multiple supermarket options enroute. We think that a hire car is essential. Enjoy. X
