★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfectly functional pit stop just 50m off Caminho. Possible to walk straight on and rejoin route without backtracking the 50m back up the steep hill. All the essentials of life to be found here plus good English spoken as a bonus!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived on aSunday at lunchtime and the place was packed with locals! Not a table left, so we were super lucky to get one. There is a pilgrims set menu 3 courses and a drink for around 5 Euro. Or a variety of smaller dishes, which are very economical.
