★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced and mediocre. Everything here is either meat and potatoes or cod fish with steamed vegtables. No real flavor. No creativity whatsoever. But hey, that's Portuguese food in a nutshell. I don't understand how you charge €11-12 for chewy, overcooked pork and soggy french fries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good restaurant to enjoy the local and typical flavours of the region. Fair prices and large portions. House wine was enjoyable as well as desert. Good coffee. Friendly staff. A good option to try local food at an affordable price. I tried their Ensopado de Borrego. I will come back for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous food and service on the Praça. We ate right in front of the church with a jazz band playing during sunset dinner outside. Alentejo specialties were tasty and authentic. Local wine was great.Lamb pork were delicious. Very homey. I want come back !

The staff is very friendly, but then most people from Alentejo are.
I love the Ensopado de Borrego and the Bochechas de Porco Preto com migas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasteful meat. The black pork was really good. The tomato salad was very nice, as well. The prices are cheap. Although the decoration of the plates could be better, we really enjoyed sitting outside and having a dinner in this place.
