S	Simon Thorley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A basic but very serviceable and economical hotel, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In a good spot to move around the historical centre of Porto on foot and close to very affordable bars and restaurants.
l	lukasz retel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and good location close to the city center. The room is claustrophobic. Bathroom is pretty the same: 2ft x 2ft. Receptionionst does not speak any language except portguese.

Misfitting toilet seats, showers turn bathroom into a dirty swiming pool. Shelves at perfect height for head smashing action. Some machine, not sure what, maybe a hot water tank, emits a high frequency noise periodically all day and al night. Front desk guy has a temper. Don't stay here, you'll be super cranky by the end of it.

Wasn't expecting much, but the Wi-Fi didn't connect, I barely fit on the shower, and there was a smell of old reeking from the whole furniture. You get what you pay for the price. Stay for a night, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything longer than that. All the staff was friendly and helpful though.

This is a hotel for those traveling on a budget, and not minding some negative sides to their stay. The rooms have recently been renovated, and I've found our room to be clean. Our room had an external toilet/bathroom (it did come equipped with a bidet and a sink) shared by several other rooms on the floor, meaning you could theoretically end up waiting for a shower or a nature's call. My biggest (and probably only problem) with the room was the bad thermo isolation, which made the room quite chilly (early December). An electric radiator style heater was available in the room, and setting it to max was barely enough to keep it lukewarm. The staff were very welcoming and nice. I've read reviews pointing out that there was a strong sewer like smell or mold around the place, however, I did not encounter either.

The staff was more or less friendly however was quite evasive on the problem. Otherwise the room was more or less clean and quiet, however due to the mold (especially in the bathroom) I just cannot recommend this hotel.
F	Flavy T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, very close to Se cathedral. Although not all staff speaks good English, they are all very helpful and willing to make you feel very comfortable there. The room was big, nice and very clean and although it was a little bit cold in there because the unusual weather for this time of the year, they gave us a heater. The only thing I didn't like about the room, was that although it had a private bathroom, as we had requested,the bathroom doors had windows so the entire bathroom was visible from the room. Except for this aspect, the room was great. We would certainly come back.
V	Vanessa Bush on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got to cancel because they wanted to charge more that the reservation price and screamed and charge me $434.00 I booked two weeks online for me and my son on booking.com I arrive there and waited til 2pm and the lady ask me for $100 extra for my son being there when the price included up to two people, I tell her no I'll book somewhere else, she proceed to charge me for two full weeks and added charge, then denied the charges and lied by saying I was a no show to charge me a cancelation fee. Never ever go there .. fraudulent people and booking.com are also the worse they let things like this happen all the time.
