No “Restauração” acreditamos no que fazemos, acreditamos nos produtos e nos produtores locais. Não renunciamos a nada,a nossa cozinha têm como base o de sempre. Vivemos esses sabores e enriquecemo-los com matrizes e detalhes de outras culturas, de outros lugares. Adoramos trabalhar nessa linha e é esse o caminho em que continuamos. Fazemo-lo porque sabemos que gostam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited here to be offered a table for lunch.. didn't happen. Am I invisible guys? You have to say you want to eat! Apple piece in the cider a nice touch. First cod I've had that wasn't dripping in grease & enjoyed it. Good natured crew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing. We ordered Bacalhau a Zé do Pipo for the main course which is a signature Portuguese dish and we were served, well, a ridiculously small tapa of cod fish. It had literally 2 soup spoons of mashed potatoes. I tried to stay positive and thought, well, this is the smallest portion I have ever seen of Bacalhau a Zé do Pipo but maybe it will be the best I have ever had. That hope was short lived, because the moment I tasted the mayonnaise over the cod fish it tasted to industrial mayonnaise of the worst kind. I honestly can't understand a cook/chef that lives in the region with arguably the best olive oils in the country and could do an excellent mayonnaise in 2 mins with olive one egg and a blender and instead chooses to use the cheap, chemical flavoured one and ruin a landmark dish. My partner had a burger which okay. It was well presented but the party was pretty flavourless, again probably a 50 cents frozen patty from Intermarché or Lidl. A positive note for the staff that was nice and cared to listen to my feedback and promised to convey the message to the management and kitchen. The restaurant unfortunately did not live to the expectations. Prices were on the high side and would be okay if the food was special, but not for the cheap and low quality ingredients and careless cooking at least on the meals we were served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little restaurant was amazing! There was a lot of choice, which isn't always a good sign...but the food was delicious, the platting beautiful, the service excellent. We had hare pate that definitely didn't come out of a tin. We also had a roasted red pepper salad...not out of a tin. For main course we had Bacalhau a Ze de Pipo and Iberian pork kebabs. There was a lot of choice for desert including 3 local specialities. Yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are anywhere in the Evora District or eastern Allentejo, you need to make a point to visit this restaurant. The menu is Allentejo cuisine with a flair only made possible by the skill and imagination of Chef Manuel. He deserves a Michelin star. The food is delicious and the presentation impressive. The staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is comfortable. We ate here twice in our short visit, and sampled many dishes without any disappointments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful food prepared by the Chef Manel. The flavours from Alentejo take a twist. Be prepared for something different and delicious. Staff is sympathetic and talkative.
If you're looking for quantity, go elsewhere.
