The host was gregarious and welcoming, and he offered excellent guidance to regional wines. All seven of us (including 2 kids and some very picky eaters) really enjoyed Travessa

We arrived late (1445) and the Kitchen was about to close - but the host and his sister kept de place open for us anyways. We we're the only guests having lunch at that time and received a great service. He presented all of the local dishes in a nice way and even helped us map out our entire trip through Portugal. If you have the chance to stop and eat at this place, you should!

The balcony between the sidewalk and the inside the building is one of the greatest ideas and makes me feel comfortable and enjoy the weather outside. The sauce is the ace in the hole, of any plate, you'll need extra bread to soak all of it. The desert I had was amazing, one of the best I've had, just check the picture of a locust cake with lemon, feels like chocolate but less sweet and more dense. Amazing experience

The owners gave us a little historical speech about their local food, it was lovely. Located in a nice small and quiet street it was nice to eat outside.
