“Annapurna” é uma palavra Nepalesa derivada da língua “Sanskrit” que significa a “doação de alimentos” e “nutrição”. Dada esta definição, achámos que iria ser o nome ideal para o nosso restaurante. Sentimos que a comida é algo devemos partilhar.
Gostaríamos de compartilhar em como o “Annapurna” é um dos primeiros restaurantes nepaleses em Portugal e estamos a trabalhar há mais de 20 anos com bastante sucesso!

I enjoyed the lamb curry dish, mango lassi and a delicious complimentary mango liqueur that was really tasty (and I don't like alcohol that much). Also, in restaurants like this in western countries, "spicy" dishes tend to be very bland. I was asked if I wanted mine spicy and I said yes. They did not disappoint! Spicy and flavorful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me it's a hidden gem. You won't expect much from the outside or even inside, their decor is not really a priority... But the food is really delicious and full of flavor! Not expensive at all too.
Just be careful not to order too much and with the levels of spicy in this restaurant.
Famous case of looks can be deceiving for me.

Beside da monument of Christo, there is a nice Nepalese Restaurant called Annapurna in da center of Almada Close to Metrostatio. Joao Baptista where you find a great choice of original Nepalese Food. I took the Surma Chicken Soup with da Garlic Naanbread and Annapurna Chicken in Chilli Sauce with da Rice. Great food for affordable price, Staff is helpful and nice and da Restaurant is nice and cozy and very highly recommended
