It has a cheese board with fig jam, great for starter. It has an excellent grilled void steak. Desserts are nothing special!

Lots of space and nice. The good Portuguese stew, everything fresh. The house wine of bia quality. The well-grilled climbing douda with great healthy dishes. The best imperial beer served in a very fresh stainless steel mug. divine

Simple restaurant with homemade food.
If you like to eat well-prepared food, it's definitely worth coming here to eat.
Affordable price, good food and good for 1 person, considering that they serve with the dish, as in most restaurants in Coimbra.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to a nondescript restaurant in Coimbra which looks more like a small Cafe with a huge car park.
As it was 4 pm, too late for lunch and too early for dinner, we were offered a beef sandwich instead. We waited for 20 mins and it was a worthwhile wait. The bread was soft, the steak was tender and done to perfection.
Total bill for two beef sandwiches + two small bottles of mineral water came up to €4.60, inclusive of 13% tax. Feeling satisfied!
