 Try POSTA (sort of called that), a large piece of beef fried over a fire. The meat of cows grazing in this region, on the hillsides.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fora de horas, já perto das 22h, foi do melhor que já comi. Num qualquer restaurante da minha região tinham dito que já não atendiam. Super rápido e comigo regional! Recomendo vivamente!
After hours, around 10pm, it was the best I've ever eaten. In any restaurant in my region they had said that they no longer serve. Super fast and with me regional! I highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situado entre Valcambra e Arouca tem ao nível da estrada o snack bar com grande balcão onde também servem refeições em prato do dia. Na "cave" com acesso lateral por rampa têm o restaurante tradicional, onde também têm pratos do dia e à lista. Comi meia dose de vitela assada que estava uma delícia. Preferi o vinho tinto da casa em caneca, de São João da Pesqueira. Era muito bom. Já lá não ia há anos e voltarei numa próxima oportunidade.
Located between Valcambra and Arouca, there is a snack bar with a large counter at the road level where they also serve meals of the day. In the "basement" with side access by ramp there is the traditional restaurant, where they also have dishes of the day and the list. I ate half a dose of roasted veal which was delicious. I preferred the house red wine in a mug, from São João da Pesqueira. It was very good. I haven't been there in years and I will be back at a later opportunity.
