★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly rustic experience. Family run restraunt in hidden location. Excellent service and fish of the day from local villages. Definitely worth seeking out if you are in the area.
But accept that the service will be as they can get to you with only 3 staff on site.
Easily the best meal we have had on this holiday.

We payed 22 euros for few small pieces of fried octupus which was warmed up in the microwave. I am portuguese myself so i know what kind of prices I can expect and this was really exagerated for a place like this. I would nor recommend it. You have better restaurants nearby like "Dunas" where you can have the full menu for 7.50 and much higher food quality.
Preço exagerado para um pequeno restaurante nesta localidade. Nem na ribeira do porto paguei tao caro por uma pessoa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here as it was suggested by the campsite as being the best value. It opens at 7pm which since it was nearly dark is late for me so I was the first there.
A very helpful lady seemed to be doing everything and after a few tries we managed to work out what I wanted from the menu - basically there is a choice of fish which can be fried or grilled that come with Potatoes/chips and vegetables or salad plus there are other (meat and vegetable) dishes available. I also had a bottle of house vinho verde which was very pleasant.
The salad and fish were very good, the vegetables less so and the whole meal came to between €20-25, which is ok but I would not call cheap.
