O restaurante D'EL REI insere-se na zona histórica do Pálacio Nacional de Queluz, onde outrora existiu uma taberna real.
O restaurante existe desde 1987, mas em 2007 foi alvo de obras de remodelação; tornando-se assim num espaço moderno e equilibrado, mais amplo e arejado; proporcionando aos seus clientes momentos muito agradáveis pelo seu ambiente confortável, acolhedor e intimista.
A qualidade é o que os nossos clientes procuram e somos conscientes disso! Procuramos assim seleccionar sempre os melhores ingredientes a fim de confeccionar verdadeiros momentos de prazer e de degustação. Melhorar e aperfeiçoar é tarefa de todos os dias!

As a staryer you get bread but the bread came in little plastic bags as well als the toast wich came in bags from the supermarket My steak had sauce all over it . Wich normally isnt a problem but it looked like it had already been for a while on the plate. The menu says you get food with side dishes but you only het fries. Wich weren't the best Fries they weren't crispy (I also found a hair in my fries)
Conclusion not great but not bad ass well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a fabulous meal. Both fish and steak dishes tasty and well cooked. Good wine and excellent service. Wish we'd eaten here earlier in our stay and not left it until our last evening. Can't understand the earlier poor review - not our experience at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant. Staff is generous and food is superb. We ordered mixed salad which had actually fresh tomatoes and lettuce, roast chicken in mushrooms’ sauce and fish “cake”.
Sangria was very refreshing. For the dessert we had chocolate mousse and cream brûlée.

Amazing outdoor restaurant with landscape for Queluz National Palace.
Great pitstop for traditional and grilles food, especially the beef picanha with bread "migas", with top flavours of garlic, parsley and beetroot sauce. Customer care and staff are friendly, available and quite nice. Average price of 20eur pp including drinks.
Great terrace and greater experience!
