Good choice of local wines from approx. 11 EUR per bottle, some 10 meals to choose from, nice and helpful service.
Credit cards accepted.

Pan of shrimp with garlic and pepper was very fresh and delicious. So are the squid and octopus, remember to safe some bread for dipping into the sauces. I highly recommended this place.

Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto, Portugal ~ Restaurante Dourum.
How to recover from a bad dinner......drink some great Port, chill out and enjoy the people watching along the Douro. One Tawny and one Ruby. So delicious on an early Sunday evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried a couple of dishes - had the grilled octopus and baked crumbed cod fish. Taste was ok; but accompanying vegetables was overcooked (broccoli). Service was adequate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful lunch here ! All the food we had was really tasty and good with even a fish francesinha! , also the wine selection was interesting.
It's quite recluse from the more touristique place that are around and definitely more quiet , with actual locals eating there.
The only fault would be the apple tart in the microwave but I hope they will flash it the oven for the next time !

We tried two different way of cooking it and we literally were in another planet.
The staff has been amazing, explaining the plate and very nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My main dish of grilled octopus was superb, as was the lemon tart dessert. Service was good and friendly. It’s a lovely space inside too.
I have to mark it only a 4 star though as the salt cod croquettes had obviously been made in advance, frozen then reheated in the microwave.
