Sobremesa Sericaia correta com a respectiva ameixa de compota por €3,30. Pão, azeitonas, 1 ice tea. Total €24. Não é caro mas como melhor por €20 em muitos outros restaurantes "beira da estrada". We ordered the stewed veal which was reasonable, serving with 4 slices and sparing the side dishes for €14, I thought it was expensive. Pitcher red wine good. Correct Sericaia dessert with the respective compote plum for €3.30. Bread, olives, 1 ice tea. Total €24. It's not expensive but I eat better for €20 in many other "roadside" restaurants.

Sentaram-nos e serviram as entradas enquanto nos deram a ementa mas já vínhamos de cabeça feita na famosa Sandes de Carne de Cozido. Quando vamos fazer o pedido dizem-nos que não podíamos pedir a sandes naquela mesa e que ou íamos para a rua (com uma criança pequena) ou esperávamos até haver outra mesa. Com isto lidamos com um péssimo atendimento pondo o ónus da culpa em nós com arrogância dizendo se disséssemos antes de sentar que teríamos sido avisados. Quem faz a casa é quem da a cara sejam regras do patrão ou não, certo é que iria fazer despesa maior que se pedisse um cozido. Ficamos pelas entradas e marchamos para o Nova Era que nos recebeu, sentou e serviu com um sorriso e que graciosamente ganhou um novo cliente. Shameful. We went in for dinner, it was cold in the street and so we asked for a table for 5. They sat us and served the starters while they gave us the menu but we already had our heads done in the famous Meat Sandes de Cozido. When we go to order, we are told that we could not order a sandwich at that table and that we would either go outside (with a small child) or wait until there is another table. With this we deal with poor service by putting the burden of blame on us with arrogance saying if we said before sitting down that we would have been warned. Whoever makes the house is the one who gives the face whether the boss's rules or not, it is certain that he would have to make a greater expense than if he ordered a stew. We stayed by the entrances and marched to the Nova Era which welcomed us, sat down and served with a smile and which graciously won a new customer.

Açorda de bacalhau, migas, bifanas, cozido, entremeada, carne, peixe, pão, vinhos, cervejas, água, sumos e refrigerantes. Produtos regionais. Sobremesas deliciosas, farófias, doces equilibrados. Café, aguardente, whisky, moscatel, vinho do porto. Professional service with a family atmosphere. Well-prepared and very tasty food. Cod bread, migas, steaks, stew, streaky meat, fish, bread, wines, beers, water, juices and soft drinks. Regional products. Delicious desserts, farófias, balanced sweets. Coffee, brandy, whiskey, muscat, port wine.
