★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only can advise to order strictly from the menu otherwise you get fooled. I went into this trap along with 8 friends and we accepted the waiters „recommendations“. We paid an amazingly high bill. So be careful!!
I was quite happy with this restaurant all the years but now I am very disappointed and will visit this place NEVER AGAIN!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING Tourists Ripper - we followed our hostel recommendation all the way to the fisherman area and believed this is an honest neighborhood restaurant for locals. We (2 people) went for the stuffed Crab and I should’ve known when I first found out the English menu says 22 euro/kg and the Portuguese menu says 32 euro/kg in hand writing, something fishy. The waiter kept telling us the crab is under 2 kg and it turns out to be 3.3kg without telling us before serving it. We saw it’s way too big and he went on to explain that’s the smallest and those gentlemen next table had 5 kg. I found a moment to ask these 2 local gentlemen and they actually had just 1.8kg! We checked the market price at the restaurant next door and you can see the over price 8 euro more per kg! I confronted the waiter and he kept on acting and what can you do other than sharing the experience for you to judge. He made us spend 50 euro more than we should.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been many times in Portugal and I love to go out for dinner there. But this place is one of the worst places I have ever been. We ordered percebes but they were low quality so we told them to take them off. We also ordered some camarones but also the quality was not the highest. The crab was not bad, but the beer quite expensive for Portugal.
Please, do not visit this place. Also the waiters were not professional enough for these prices.
