 Discreet but very cozy. Simple but tasty food. The bread and wine of the house are worth the visit.

Venho sempre que me apetece um polvo à lagareiro, degustado num ambiente rústico com lareira ou debaixo de uma centenária ramada de videira. De entrada servem sempre um pão da avó acabado de sair do forno e eu peço sempre uns bolinhos de bacalhau enquanto aguardo o apuramento do polvo em azeite no forno. Remato sempre o repasto com um português leite creme queimado na hora. Recomendo vivamente!
I've been revisiting this genuine Portuguese restaurant for 20 years, seasoned like at grandma's house. I come whenever I feel like an octopus à lagareiro, enjoyed in a rustic atmosphere with a fireplace or under a century-old vine. For starters, they always serve grandmother's bread just out of the oven and I always order some codfish balls while I wait for the octopus to cook in olive oil in the oven. I always end the meal with a Portuguese milk cream burnt on time. I strongly recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishes are too expensive compared to the quality of the meal. I ordered filet-o-fish for 20 bucks and only had two very small ones and they weren't that good, went to Burger King after.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It used to be very good and we did not really believe the recent negative reviews...we should have! What a disappointment. The fillet fish, which was one of their best plates, were so "sad", frozen and soft...
The Açorda was acceptable but, anyway, nothing to be remembered !
Even the dessert was a disappointment.
Maybe they will pick themselves up. I wish they will.
