★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Encouraged in by friendly man outside, promising food off a grill located by the front of the restaurant.
Once inside we were insulted by staff who tried to explain what 'seafood' is when we asked what a 'cataplana' is ...
The staff were confused when we didn't want salad with our steaks, and we were even more confused when the steak came with enough chips to feed six people.
The food itself came from the other side of the kitchen to where the grill advertised was, which we found cause for concern.
The food tasted alright but we will definitely not be returning and nor would I would recommend it.

Beans soup was good, tasty.
Carapau grilled fish was ok. But too salty for me. Had to drink 1 litter of water during the night.
Cake was good too.
Funny thing... I was speaking Portuguese with the waiters and they were answering in English.
Weird....

So we assumed this would mean rubbish food or small portions, but we were being cheapskates and went in anyway. Good size portion of swordsteak and huge amount of ve

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place sword fish great mixed kebab very nice but the sardines and mackerel as in photos came and looked amazing and large for sardines but as soon as we started tucking in found that none of the fish had been cleaned Still full of guts and insides (very bad taste).that's the way they cook them ! LAZY STYLE !! Not my cup of tea and have eaten fresh fish all over the world but never not cleaned YUK !?
