H	H N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Une fois passé l'accueil qui peu paraître un peu froid, le service est plutôt avenant. La déco est restée dans son jus d'il y a 40 ans : bois foncé partout. Les personnes sont sympa et cherchent à vous faire plaisir. Et surtout, c'est délicieux. Petite mention : j'ai demandé de l'huile d'olive pour ajouter sur mon bacalhau grillé et les pommes de terre et on m'a apporté une petite saucière avec de l'huile d'olive chauffée avec de l'ail, comme ce qu'il y avait dans le plat, top ! Once past the reception which may seem a little cold, the service is rather friendly. The decor has remained as it was 40 years ago: dark wood everywhere. The people are nice and try to please you. And above all, it's delicious. Small mention: I asked for olive oil to add on my grilled bacalhau and potatoes and I was brought a small gravy boat with olive oil heated with garlic, like what was in the dish, great!

Fiquei 1 hora à espera na esplanada sem qualquer tipo de aviso e ao perguntar se demorava muito recebi um delicado “honestamente sim”. Não faz sentido um local ter mais de uma hora de espera (com a casa quase vazia, o que atrasava eram os pedidos take away que tinham prioridade) e nunca haver um aviso relativamente ao tempo de espera elevado. Tivemos que sair sem almoçar. Não ofereceram sequer as azeitonas e a água que tínhamos consumido. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to taste the dishes. I was waiting for 1 hour on the terrace without any kind of warning and when I asked if it would take too long I received a polite “honestly yes”. It doesn't make sense for a place to have more than an hour of waiting (with the house almost empty, what was delaying were the take-away orders that had priority) and never having a warning about the high waiting time. We had to leave without lunch. They didn't even offer the olives and water we had consumed.

Grilled codfish with mongoose (a type of wheat bread migas) and white wine (fresh) from Quinta de Penegrais, which is the house wine, as it is from there. I loved it.
