O Snack-Bar Resturante O Tintol existe há mais de 40 anos, mantendo sempre a gerência que o fundou em 1980, estando neste momento a funcionar já com duas gerações da família no activo.
Com mais de 4 décadas de experiência acumulada este estabelecimento abre às 7 horas da manhã para o serviço de pequeno-almoço, sendo um grande ponto de referência para o encontro de pessoas que planificam aqui o dia de trabalho.
Aos almoços apresenta a partir do meio-dia um rodízio de peixe fresco assado com uma variedade de fazer apetite até a quem não gosta de peixe.
Quem nos visita pela primeira vez normalmente volta, porque é difícil encontrar uma variedade de peixe tão vasta e fresquíssima ao preço que aqui se pratica.

The birthday guests numbered circa 40 people and the midday meal venue was O Tintol which specializes in fresh fish dishes. We can only say that the food consisted of a considerable variety of superbly cooked fish accompanied by local wines followed by desserts and coffee. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.
If you like fish and you are staying near Faro then we highly recommend that you visit O Tintel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ai I didn't enjoy the food at all. Sand in the fish may be a sign of freshness but in my opinion more an indication of poor cleanliness. Fish was overcooked and cold, go figure. Don't care how inexpensive. Nasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ seriously this place is heaven for fish and seafood lovers. All you can eat concept, serving you only fishes and seafood, all for 10euros, fresh from grill. Every year stop when on vacation in Faro. Bit out on highway but at least is not super crowded. Love the place :) come with empty stomac, food is delicious here!

There's a huge variety of grilled fish, however they grill it in big quantity that ends up being very dry at the time they serve it.
Eventually we got some warm and juicy fish that was very lovely, but most of the times was served cold and dry.

Ordered French fries with our fish and waiting for fish we liked was so long, our fries got cold also fish.
Outside area were sitting table with 6 guys and table with 2 older ladies. Server with fish every time served guys first and left ladies for long wait. It was terrible experience.
Poor quality fish. One was oversalted others without taste. Never again.
