★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old fashioned restaurant. Pleasant food but a bit too salty for my liking.A bit formal and stuffy. Reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. It was my first trip to Porto and this place was the best authentic, homemade and not overpriced food experience. We had an excellent service. I highly recommend the good Caldo Verde starter soup. Very healthy. In my short 4 days trip I ate there twice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good is ok but lacks refinement prices are ok. Interior will take you back in the 70s. Just old traditional and simple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am only giving the rating based on the pork chop and vegetable soup. It was slightly tough and taste was ok. It does come with a lot of fried and a plate of strange looking greens, which i realised the other customers not eating as well. They probably shd change that?
Beer was cold which is nice.
Overall was ok since i only paid 8€ for the pork and 1.8€ for the soup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had lunch twice at the snack bar and, as a former local, I can say that the food was really amazing. Felt like home made. The service couldn't have been more friendly and professional. I've been in fancy restaurants where the service was half as good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Friendly staff. Value for money. The grilled sardine here was amazing! Also tried the grilled chicken and potatoes with rice which was tasty as well. Perfectly cooked, lipsmacking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First impression, clean, neat, orderly and formal. Once you sit down you realise you're back in the '90s. Great service, couldn't say anything bad about it. The menu, simple, not too many dishes and in multiple languages. Complementary bread (really nice, tasty) spreadable tuna, cheese and butter to serve while waiting for your order. We had Portuguese style steak and flame grilled sardines with peppers. My steak (meat) was not bad at all, nicely done, juicy and I would say it was medium rare. The potatoes were quite salty, the onion was good, tasty but everything was just floating in oil. The sauce itself might've been nice if the oil wouldn't take everything from it. The sardines were quite smelly, not in a bad way, but almost improper washed, the ocean smell was very very pregnant. They weren't too fresh either. Anyway, long story short, homemade type of '90s food, we will not go there anymore and won't recommend it either. Shameful, so much potential wasted.
