★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in a residential suburb in Oliveira do Douro, a stone's throw from the high-school, this restaurant was founded by an Italian, around 25 years ago.
They are specialized in pizzas (Neapolitan-style) and pastas but also prepare traditional portuguese dishes like "francesinhas".
On a week evening, we ordered pizzas - Funghi and Sorrentina - and were pleasantly surprised: thick dough, and generous toppings. Although we prefer Roman-style pizzas, we really enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients, the nice acidity of the tomato base and the creaminess of the cheese.
Service was very friendly.
Will come back!
