★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although located relatively far from Lisbon, it is safe to say that it was my favourite restaurant during my 5 day trip to Portugal. The freshness of the catch was apparent. Prawns and octopus were also delicious. Service was well organized. The ambience was superb as well. Highly reccomended

Lots of mosquitoes on the terrace despite the repellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 17:10 on a weekday. We were met by a waiter who looked in panic "wait people coming in". Suddenly the words we are closed came out very quickly. He then asked someone else who confirmed they were closed. I asked what time do they close normally as Google says 22:00. A quick look at the watch I could see his brain working hard to say...fffffive we close at five. Five thirty wouldn't work. Terrible attitude which is a shame as it looks like a great place. Just for that, a zero star would be perfect. Work on your customer service and make sure what's advertised is correct.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, regular service (nice but not super professional) and a little to dark to eat fish properly. Great for lunch but only good for dinner. Pricey also but the sunset and location have a price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing to have a beach restaurant where you are obliged to pay parking in order to access the site: in our case, at 3PM the restaurant rejected us because they were “full” when you could clearly see open tables (and open slots at that time on the reservation site). It clearly puts the posh before any client-centric attitude, which is a shame because the placement looks incredible.

They managed excel themselves ! If you are able to appreciate quality & classe your will understand this is not just another beach restaurant but SAL is one of the most high quality beach restaurants in Portugal, and you will be in love with the harmony of the place.
The food is so tasty that your palate will thank you for days! the food is absolutely delicious .
Amazing cockle- I can’t even describe the freshness and the taste it was truly delicious!
I had the picanha it was divine the the black beans I couldn’t stop eating!
Best, best cheesecake ever!
I love cheesecake so I am an expert and it is in one of the bests I ever tasted (It’s on my top 5 favourites)!
To complemente the great food is the amazing view to the beach and super nice and attentive staff !
I’m already planning my next visit !
