★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food (mains). Dessert not so good. WARNING - The complimentary bread rolls, butter, sardine spread and olives that they give you at the beginning are NOT complimentary. Each item is 1 Euro per person. We didn't know this so we ended up paying an extra 8 Euros as a couple.

We ordered the grilled sardines, prawn linguine, and house salad with white house wine and sparkling water. Delicious - step it up by asking for piri-piri chili oil and some lemon wedges for the linguine. Squeeze some lemon juice on the sardines too to give them an extra lift. Portions are generous and flavors were good.
Other reviews primed me for this, so I’ll mention it again here too: the bread, butter, and olives they bring out are “SUGGESTIONS”: not free. You will be charged for it if you eat it (: it is a delicate (and effective) up-sell.

The owner ripped us off without shame (my stupidity was that I listened to his friendly welcoming words, and decided to sit there even though the place was empty - I understand why...): We ordered Dourada fish and received the smallest fish in my life - not more than 300 grams. Shame. By compalining, he suddenly didn't understand English... and now the nice part: we were with a small child. We specifically said that for him a - SMALL - and simple pasta with tomato sauce. He of course confirmed it. in the end he charged us 13 Euro for this pasta (just to compare: Dourada fish 14 Euro (even though his menu shows 1 Euro less...) And Salmon 14 Euro. Simply rip-off! It was the most expensive kids pasta in my life (and we're not talking fresh pasta, right? It was a cheap supermarket parta....). Don't go there: the same place has many other restaurants which are way better than this dump....
