Really can't ask for more, its in down town Portimão....near the river,relaxed and Luís is always there for you!

My husband and I went this quaint Portuguese restaurant twice, during our 4 night stay in Praia de Rocha. 1st night we ordered a simple salad, octopus stew in rice, and grilled sea bass served with some cooked vegetables and french fries. It was simple, yet delicious, and fresh. It's a casual restuarant, like most in these seaside town, yet just a few steps away from the main strip. The service was friendly, attentive yet not pushy and casual. Also, I had a lovely white Portuguese wine - Grao Vasco Branco that was perfect! Our last night we decided to go again for Portuguese seafood as we knew it was delicious and reasonably priced. This time I had their Tuna steak- grilled and topped with tomatoe, onion, peppers sauce, with a bit of vegetables and pototoes. Amazing! Huge steak which I could not finish on my own and shared with my husband. He had to have the octopus dish again with salad and same wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent choice! We went to this place with our two under 5s. The staff was most kind as sometimes is difficult to accommodate to the demands of tired overheated children.
The waiter tempted us with a seabass about 40cm long and VERY fresh with a full flavored salad and vegetables on the side... What a treat!
Our children also enjoyed a proper meal, one with a succulent version of a fish and chips and my youngest with a spaghetti napoli which sauce was amazing.
Not less important, the toilets were SPOTLESS.
Not only I recomend the place but for sure I will be back before heading back home.
