★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly tasty and different type of Indian cuisine. We tried 3 different dishes and a variety of starters all superb. The Owener was super friendly. Fast in serving our dinner and prices are low. To be a perfect alternative Indian food experience maybe it needed a better decoration and lighting, but it doesn't affect the 5 star reviewing whatsoever.

"Restaurant Swaad" describes an another face of food collection from India.
This place has a relaxing vibe joined with warm welcoming staffs....
I advise a must try at this restaurant would be" Sulamani(family of a tea), Kerala Parrota with Vaca de Kerala."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely write reviews owing to general laziness but the compelling, soulful and downright delicious South Indian food at Swaad forced my hand at leaving a review. The food here is unlike any other typical Indian restaurant that one might come across in Porto! The menu items are unique to the place and I've tried almost all of them, each dish outdoing almost anything Indian I've tasted anywhere in Portugal. The owner's hospitality and care adds to the warmth and coziness that Swaad exhumes. I'd hands down recommend Swaad to all non-Indians and Indians alike, in a heart-beat!

A must for those who are adventurous and who'd love to have their palates tantalise by authentic South Indian cuisine. A refreshing change from most of the run of the mill Indian restaurants out there!
