★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What is the point of the fake Michelin stars outside the restaurant? It is not funny for sure, so why is it still there? Maybe to deceive some tourists, ha?
Please take a look at the photo of the salad that I shared. You should pay back to your customers for serving that, not the opposite way!
The steaks are served with lots of sauce, literally they are swimming in the sea of sauce.
To summarize, waste of money! It is really expensive compared to what they serve, especially in such a wonderful city which is full of nice restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ XL is one of Lisbon’s well established high class fine dining venue. Tourists would rarely discover it. Its suflet as main dish, be it the spinach suflet or the baccalat ( cod fish) suflet, are very popular and melts in the mouth. Service is very good. Our waiter Ginja took care of us gently. It is a place with sense of humor as its entrance door displays a sign that it has three Michelin stars but when you read the fine print under it , it clearly makes fun of that rating system and disclaims having Michelin star. Located in the historical Sao Bento neighborhood towards Lapa , right across the Parliament building, it hosts every night Lisbon’s well known politicians, journalists and businessmen. Closed for lunch.
