★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great local restaurant offering good produce cooked simply to deliver a delicious meal. Limited menu - mostly locally caught fresh fish, chicken or pork - all cooked over the barbeque.
It opens for lunch every day but only opens for dinner on Fridays & Saturdays.
Not much to look at from the outside & has a basic interior and furnishings.
Waiters are very friendly and helpful; a couple speak English.
Fish meals served with salad and boiled potatoes, chips and rice is normally served with meat dishes.
Beer and carafes of local wine flow freely.
This is a very popular restaurant with the locals. In particular 'a go to place' for celebratory dinners with the extended family and friends. Music and dancing on Fridays and Saturdays, with many good singers having a go.
Located on the side of the road just before the start of the Arrabida national park.
Only a small car park, so many have to park along the road ... better still walk ir get a taxi.
If you want silver service and a quiet intimate neal ... this is not the venue for you. If you enjoy good rustic food, opportunities for meeting lovely local people, laughter and music ... make this a go to destination for yourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is superb.Service is good. Good behaviour . Location is perfect. Reasonable price of fish. Karaoke music makes the environment enjoyable with the food.Not a fancy restaurant but lively atmosphere. Be aware that People smokes inside.

We were not well welcomed
Local people came after us and got welcomed before us by the same person...
Allocated us is a very bad table
I felt that I waisted my time and my wife is very upset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very difficult to park, prepare to wait a lot and the place is nothing close to fancy. Nevertheless, I have to give this place a 5 stars rating for its superb food. We had sardinhas and the quality is as good as it gets. It's the typical local Portuguese restaurant that I love. Strongly recommended, but bear in mind the other aspects I mentioned in the beginning!
