★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know this restaurant fairly well. It never was a great place, but the food was honest. Lately the service gone down hill. Awful, really awful service. Also food decreased the quality and quantity. It is not a good place to know Portuguese cuisine and Portuguese hospitality. Far from it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and desserts. And wine. And the goat fresh cheese from Alcácer do Sal. The service gets slower as the restaurant fills up. It’s not a big restaurant I would say that is understandable once in a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service on this day was not up to standard, very slow, and without any attention to customers due to lack of staff. Thus the 3* rating.
Excellent view and good location overlooking the river Sado and the old bridge. Very tasteful regional food. We have eaten the Arroz de Ligueirāo com Amêijoas e Camarão, excellent and “malandrinho”, Carne de Porco à Alentejana it was delicious and finally Bacalhau à Brás was the best ever, although the one of my mum is better.
All of this was accompanied with a very good Sangria de Espumante.
A good option for a week-end lunch with the family.
