N	Nina Bensch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were two young girls traveling through Portugal and had a lovely time in Nazare. Hotel Ribamar was quaint, pretty, sweet and clean. Very lovely stay. However there was one member of the staff that made us feel rather uncomfortable. He was quite rude most of the time whenever we asked for help and gave off an inappropriate looks. Other than that it is a wonderful little hotel.

The matress is very firm (but I like it like that) I didn't realize what a busy street it overlooks between the sand and the hotel. If noise irritates you, this is not the place for you. The views and hearing the ocean make it worthwhile though. Amazing breeze in my room from the ocean!! I wrote this on a Sunday, today Monday is MUCH quieter, also the wooden shutters really help block out noise. I was able to sleep in with no problem!!
G	Gregoire Panzer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More than simple hotel. The rooms are poorly furnished with beds harder than rocks. The location may make it appear as a dream hotel but the 1-star hotel rating has never been truer. Do not expect a happy surprise.
T	Tyler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took an Uber from Lisbon to Nazare for the day and had trouble finding a ride back. This hotel's front desk clerk was extremely helpful arranging transportation and translating with a taxi service. Obrigado!
T	The Tube on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right across the road from the South beech and basically just around the corner from the funicular which takes you up to where you can view the Norte Beech. The hotel is very clean and friendly and looks cool from the outside and of course caters to surfer dudes who forgot to bring their boards!
V	VELASQUEZ PEREZ PEDRO PABLO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly classic hotel! I had an emergency and had to stay overnight at Nazaré last week. I booked the most affordable and convenient hotel I found in Expedia. To my great surprise, it was right in the main street along the beach. This is a very classic hotel, like the ones you would see in movies of the early 20th century. The staff was super kind, the room was very well maintained and updated to 2022 standards. Not a super modern or trendy hotel, but like a good Port this hotel has aged well and it has retained its classic soul (just talk to the managers for a few minutes and you will see how much they love this place and help guests). My room had a fantastic window and terrace with a view of the ocean, which I enjoyed a lot. The breakfast was great and at an unbeatable price, and even came with a great conversation with the manager who gave me lots of recommendations to enjoy the area. Even at the rainiest of the winter, the hotel irradiates a homely warmth that I will treasure forever. I can't wait to be back, especially during summer when the yellow and white details of the hotel will perfectly complement the blue of the ocean and the striking of the Nazaré cliffs. I really feel fortunate of having stumbled with this hotel due to an emergency.
