★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ribeira da Tabuada, uma das várias ribeiras de onde partiam os agricultores para a marinha de Ovar e as vendedeiras para o mercado diário de Ovar práticas que no fim do século XIX constituíram pretexto para esse Concelho tentar anexar a freguesia de Pardilhó. A Marinha de Ovar Tijosa e Torrão do Lameiro começaram a ser ocupadas na segunda metade do século XIX por agricultores de Pardilhó, que ali viviam e trabalhavam à semana, mas vinham ao fim de semana à Freguesia de origem abastecer-se de víveres e cumprir os preceitos religiosos. O mesmo sucedeu com as Quintas, a Norte da Torreira, povoada por agricultores de Pardilhó e Bunheiro.
Ribeira da Tabuada, one of the several streams from which farmers left for the Ovar navy and sellers for the daily market in Ovar practices that at the end of the 19th century constituted a pretext for this municipality to try to annex the parish of Pardilhó. The Navy of Ovar Tijosa and Torrão do Lameiro began to be occupied in the second half of the 19th century by farmers from Pardilhó, who lived and worked there every week, but came to the parish of origin at the weekend to obtain supplies and fulfill their religious precepts. The same happened with Quintas, north of Torreira, populated by farmers from Pardilhó and Bunheiro.

I discovered this small fishing port yesterday and it is an extraordinary place to contemplate the Aveiro lagoon with its fauna, white herons and local flora, marsh lavender. In the evening you can enjoy superb sunsets ☀️
