★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cabreira and the "Olive Press" are charming and well worth a visit, the praia fluvial is a lovely picturesque place steeped in history. We watched others swimming while we ate our lunch in the shade as it was a hot day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to relax and embed yourself in nature, but also good to realise and understand the tenuous work done in and around this idilic piece of land.
For instance, there is a corn maze water mill, a olive oil cooperative, were all the villagers would grind their olives. Later, until the 60s, this space was occupied by miners working in nearby wolfram and tin mines. Nowadays the cooperative was returned to the original state and twice a year its possible to see and taste the process of olive grinding. #riverbeach

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to swim and chill and have a nice barbecue experience. There are two swinging ropes to let yourself fall into the refreshing water. You can walk into the water or you can jump in. I came here almost every day the 2 months i was staying in Cabreira.
