A visita é interessante, as Guias muito simpaticas e pareceram-me bem informadas.
The visit is interesting, the Guides are very friendly and seemed to be well informed. I think it has potential but I think it still needs to be better explored, maybe there is a reception room for visitors where a brief introduction can be made, the outdoor enclosure can be more presentable and appealing, as well as the accesses better identified and arranged. For me the downside is the price. 25€ for an adult is too much, in Lisbon a visit to the jeronimos or museum is around 10 to 15€

I enjoyed the visit with the family to the Salt-Gem Mine of Loulé, although it was not a unique underground experience, as I have already visited several caves and the Welizika Mine in Poland that are more important. However, it was worth it, although the price of the visit is exaggerated by €25, for those who do not meet the requirements for the purchase of the cheapest €15 and €20 tickets, which are still high. In my opinion, prices between €10 and €15 would be fairer.

Descending 230 meters down into a well equivalent to an 80-story building is, in itself, a challenging experience. Of course, nothing compared to the miners who work daily at these and much greater depths. Downstairs, we enter a different world, mild temperature, dry air, and we are invited to discover a small part of the 45 km of drilled tunnels, accompanied by a very efficient and friendly guide, able to hold our attention and keep the suspense. about what we're seeing. On this visit, we learn geology and Earth history, we learn social and economic history, we learn engineering. In short, we left very satisfied and very enriched. Don't miss the opportunity to visit! Book by phone before you go.

A great experience not to be missed if you are in the Loule area. Very informative guides on the history and workings of the mine. Our guides Adriana and Deborah spoke excellent English. Highly recommended

This hidden gem in Loule is so worth looking for. The guide is great, very knowledgeable and enjoys being questioned by those interested enough to ask. The tour is 1.5 hrs through huge corridors of rocksalt. It's well ventilated and spacious, the only cramped time is going in the shaft elevator to the caverns which takes approx. 3 mins. Rocksalt is used for animal feed and medicine so if you like to know how things happen go there.

Excellent tour, highly recommended. Good length and interesting balance between the geological, engineering, commercial and people aspects of this somewhat unusual and unexpected enterprise. Great guide, some fascinating insights. Easy going, would recommend to anyone, families too.

Went today together with my girlfriend, our guide was amazing! She knew so many details about the mine and the environment was breathtaking. We even had the ability to take some fractures home with us. Recommended!
