When my family visited in the late fall, we ordered traditional food in from a nearby resto, and afterwards, drank port by the fire while my children played board games at the coffee table. When I was there in the spring, we strolled the grounds, had lunch under a tree, and spent time in the cafes of Braga. It really is a magical place. Each time, we spent a night or two in nearby Oporto on the way home, but the highlight was always the beauty and tranquility of staying in this chateau.
