★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely cool oasis which was very welcome on a hot August afternoon! It’s offer of a wine tasting of 6 Alentejo wines for just €5 each was recommended by our walking tour guide. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and agreed to give us a private tasting when we walked in to enquire about timings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in to do the wine tasting. For 3 euro, we got to try 6 wines. The lady who did the tasting was friendly and informative. There is a bit of an exhibit that provides insights into the Alentejano region. There's some information on different grape varieties and the soil. It's not a ton of info. but it was nice to look through before the tasting. You can also buy wine here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This nonprofit organization rotates 6 different wines from 3 different producers each week ( 2 wines per producer). They are closed on the weekends. As of 2021, the price is 5 euros for the wine tasting. Pedro enlightened me on Alentejo wines and the wine categories. He is a wealth of knowlegde and funny to talk to. They also sell some wines made using the Roman method of fermenting in ceramic containers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommend this place Highly to learn about wines of the region. Very nice wine tasting, and we picked up a bottle of delicious wine. The woman who worked here was extremely nice, and we learned a lot of things.

I had a very nice tasting with Ilena who was very eager to share information about both the wines and wineries, but also Alentejo and everything it offers. They also offers me a book in English about the wineries and map of wineries in the region.
