Quiet park with very acceptable conditions. It has barbecues and toilets. A day well spent with the family.

One of the most spectacular moonrises I have ever seen. You can spend the night in a motorhome although there are hardly any level places or high shadows.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dé plek om één of meerdere nachten te verblijven met de camper! Zoek niet verder :D. We hadden in november prachtig weer 19 graden, s'avonds super veel sterren zien + De Melkweg. Het is een soort van savanne maar dan in Portugal. Echt een geweldige plek.
The place to stay one or more nights with the camper! Look no further :D. In November we had beautiful weather 19 degrees, in the evening we saw a lot of stars + the Milky Way. It is a kind of savanna but in Portugal. Really great place.

Don't bother reading any reviews about this place ..... JUST GO.
I Had heard about this place from the TV travel show. I incorporated it into my ride around Europe this year. Planned one night here.
We arrived in the tiny small local town just outside the resort. There was a bar open. We stopped for an ice cold beer, the temps were knocking the top end of 30's. We then left to make our war to the lake. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But as soon as we found our location, id plotted on the sat nav, I was blown away. The pictures I've attached give an idea but you really need to be there.
We parked next to a bench, there was a small jetty on the lake....
We waitd for the dark to come, wasting time swimming in the lake and cooking food. Then Dark came. Breathtaking. Just look up.
The stars..... wow. the Milky way.... OMG
Just go there for a night. Ill never forget that place as long as I live.
Sleep outside under the stars......
