Prices seemed fair and therefore would come back without an issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food! Starters full of taste: Olives, beans, cheese and a seafruit paste were a great beginning. The main dish was a plate for two: vegetables, a delicious rice pot with cole and local beef which was perfectly medium-rare. A good portion of garlic, fine wine and friendly service made a it a perfect dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As we were running out of time, we only arrived short after 3 pm,. As usually all the restaurants closes at that time we asked if we would still be served. We got outstanding food fabiolos wine, super friendly people. Highly recommended, in future when we will come again to Geres it will be a must to drop by. Thanks for this outstanding afternoon - see you again.

I recommend the "Arroz de Feijão Terrestre" and the "cachena" steak. For desert you should go for the fig cheesecake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here is extremelly welcoming. All the food is local both the recipe and products. I advise the Cachena steak (local beef cattle with very distinguished flavour). For desert the figs cheese cake. The figs come from the owner own garden. Don't forget to taste vino verse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ service was friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu to us in English. We took the recommended oven baked cachena beef (24eur for 2 pax) that comes with a side dish of boiled vegetables and pot of rice, beans and sausage. Tasty but we couldn’t finish so we requested the leftovers to be packed. Takeaway boxes were charged at 1eur each which we would have appreciated to be mentioned upfront

Food arrived quickly.
Ponte de Lima Tinto verde cold is also great!
