D	Daniel Bognar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite its slightly shabby appearance which would lead the untrained eye of a tasteless peasant to think that this place is a generic fast food-ish seafood restaurant “sabores da praia” proves to be a simple yet very delightful oasis of delicacy. Being located only a one minute walk away from the prestigious apple beach it combines world class service reaching from charismatic waiters to outstanding chefs. The only flaw is the lack of vegetarian or vegan alternatives which is an issue that can be neglected by most people.
S	Sara Ashmar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were passing by Praia de Maçã and though it was gloomy and rainy a bit. We stopped by Sabores da praia for lunch. We had Choco frito and feijoada de choco. Both tasted so good. Fresh taste. The choco frito had a great taste and tender different than other choco fritos we tried. The guy who attended us was very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable too. Looking forward to come back in the summer. The food was too good to take a picture :)

We came across this restaurant because it was the only open with continuous service and we don't regret it, specially because in this area is all about easy food like hamburgers and pizzas. Here you can find home cooked portuguese food, served generously and not very expensive. The owner is very welcoming. The place is simple, not very well decorated and quite dark but that's okay considering all the other positive aspects. Note as well that the restaurant is situated a few steps away from the beach. Def recommend for you to stop by.
S	Sabina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food. Rice with fish, shrimps or octopus is delicious. Codfish "cookies" are great. Prices are much better than in spurrandings... Good desserts - chocolad, almond cake <3 Nice, smailing owner, close to the beach.

My family traveled Portugal over Christmas from Canada and our time spent at this restaurant is our favourite memory. Thank you Raphael for your incredible hospitality! We stumbled on this place on our first night and it was so good we had to come back for our last night in town. On both occasions the staff made sure we experienced everything Portugal has to offer, from the food to the drink to the hospitality. They obviously care so much about providing the best food and experience to their guests and made us feel at home. The steak was delicious, I tried chicken kidneys for the first time and was amazed how good it was, the fries were better than McDonalds (and that's high praise from me). But above all, the homemade piri piri sauce stole the show. I can't recommend this place enough whether you're staying in Praia das Maçãs or if it's a reason to go visit. I hope to be back soon!
