★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food most of the time, good value for money too. My only complaint is that during busy times some staff are very rushed and can be rude at times. Perhaps more serving staff are needed, I'm not sure. Overall it's good, I especially liked the duck rice.

Every dish seams to come with crisps, what's a huge put off for me... there is luck of nice vegetables.
The waiters are ok but nothing special.
The owners are really unfriendly, rude and umprofessional.
Real shame , food was excellent the first time I went there but has changed a lot .
The best thing at moment are the prices.

From the good size portions, the appetizers, meal and wine for 10€ or less and the very attentions employees this is one of my favourite places for a casual meal as a local.
Acorda de bacalhau and leitão are my favourites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That's one of those places when you know it's going to be good, because all the locals, especially seniors are going here for a lunch. It may not look like it, but inside the place is spacious and has a lot of seats. The meals are simple and cheap. However, they are delicious and suit so well for a good filling meal. Here they offer a menu for the day which is cheaper and changeable alongside the main menu with established set of dishes.
Even though the place gets very crowdy, the service is fast, staff was always nice to us and overall everything (tables, WC) was clean. I definitely recommend this place for those who want cheap, filling and traditional meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality, but no menu, so you pay all separately, leading to a lower value than a place like restaurante Augusto. Paying almost 3 euros for a glass of wine is well above average for Portugal prices (I passed). It's a large space, below street level, but it is very popular and it fills up and gets very noisy. You will need to wait if you come in around 1pm.
