Nice location. Rooms are bright and big. Unfortunately furnature is a little bit old and needs an update. Also the thin walls can be a bit annoying. The view is amazing.

The worst customer Service I ever had. I was a Spa client and the service was terrible with people jumping to the swimming pool, wearing no hats and constantly shouting. The jacuzzi was impossible to use as a family was there all the time even if in the rules you can use for 10 min max in turns. In the end when I was in the man's changing room it came a lady inside and started to shout " there is a naked man " . I don't recommend to anyone specially because after that I wrote a complaint and cancelled the dinner I had booked in there as the Manager did nothing apart from try to protect the hotels name. Terrible

I have booked this hotel in August 2018 for three nights. The reception staff is okay. The rooms in the pictures are few new rooms. But must of the rooms are very old and need to be refurbished. First they gave me a room smelling cigarette pretending they didn’t know. I had to insist to change it. Second room, nice view, very old, the bath was clogged, lamps not working. In the morning the cleaners was screaming in the corredor. I asked for a clothes iron and for my surprise they don’t have it. You pay six euros to iron a dress. Bad breakfast. Horrible juices, not natural at all, and no heath options! The spa is very quiet if it’s not schools holidays or weekends. I tried to relax on Saturday and it was so crowded! Lots of kids inside the jacuzzi, very noisy and not clean at all. I have made a official complaint, spoke to the manager and after a month, I haven’t received any response! Be aware! This hotel is not value for money.some hotels nearby are much better.

Looks great from the outside however it is extremely old, our window didnt lock, we had hairs all over our bathroom, only the bathroom's lights worked (no other in the whole room) and overall just disgusting. Below you have some pictures of the carpet and the roof, didnt take any of the hair because I cleaned it right away it was way too disgusting to look at.

The hotel could use a renovation! The rooms look worn and even had some mold in some corners.

Have been coming here since 2010. It is a tired building with tired decor and I fear for its future. I like it though. It has charm, with terrific staff and a good restaurant. Food is always presented well and is fresh and tasty, whether in the restaurant or at the bar. Please renovate this place... it would be well worth doing. I would argue that raising the room price is justifiable for reinvestment in the structure, decor improvement and staff well being...

We had car problems and had to find a last minute hotel stay. We booked at the Santana Hotel and stayed just one night and did not regret it. We were not expecting much. It was clean and simple in design. Being so close to the water one might expect the smell of mold or the carpet to smell. This was not the case! The view from the window was gorgeous! They provided a free breakfast, and due to COVID-19 each guest was asked to come during a specific time slot. We were hungry before our scheduled time, and the hotel gladly brought the meal to our room. The breakfast was an elevated continental with homemade orange juice, coffee, a wide assortment of breads and pastries, jam, butter, and honey. Since the stay was unplanned we didn't have a phone charger and they gladly loaned us one. We were very impressed with the hotel!

Great hotel. It must have had it's best days, years ago. Although the hotel needs caring in many ways, it is still a great hotel. Lovely service minded staff. Great bar, lounge and restaurant. Don't expect a nice silent retreat in their wellness part of the hotel, in the weekends. Many families with young children here who occupie the pool area. Apart from that, it's definitely a fantastic place to be.
