Ideal for a getaway to Porto. It is 5 minutes walk from the fabulous beach of Matosinhos and opposite the Metro do Porto...in 30 minutes in a beautiful journey we are in the center. Perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich habe dieses kleine Juwel durch Zufall gefunden und dann sind wir direkt mehrfach wieder zurückgekehrt und haben unsere Zeit hier verbracht, ist wirklich zu empfehlen und liegt in mitten einer Vielzahl von Fischrestaurants und mit einer guten Ausgangslage für Ausflüge rund um Porto. In der Innenstadt ist man auch mit der Metro sehr schnell.
Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr netten Personal!
I found this little gem by chance and then we came back several times and spent our time here, it is really recommendable and is located in the middle of a multitude of fish restaurants and with a good starting point for excursions around Porto. The metro is also very quick in the city center.
Great accommodation with very nice staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gostámos muito da estadia. Ficámos na Guest House São Francisco e não nos arrependemos nada. Os quartos são pequenos, mas para um casal é suficiente. A cama é confortável, bem como as almofadas. O único ponto negativo é mesmo a dimensão do quarto, que pode ser insuficiente se as malas forem MUITO grandes.
O pequeno almoço é na guest House Del Rey, situada na rua da frente. A sala do pequeno almoço não é muito grande e não há grande variedade. Contudo, é suficiente e de boa qualidade. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos, principalmente o Sr.Joaquim que desde do início se mostrou disponível para nos ajudar. Incrível mesmo!
A localização é excelente! O metro é à porta, permitindo chegar ao centro do Porto numa viagem de 30 minutos, mais ou menos. Existem imensos restaurantes e supermercados perto! A praia fica a 5 minutos a pé.
No final, não tínhamos como não recomendar. Os preços são mega acessíveis e as condições são muito boas!
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed at the Guest House São Francisco and we didn't regret it at all. Rooms are small but enough for a couple. The bed is comfortable, as are the pillows. The only negative point is the size of the room, which can be insufficient if your bags are VERY large.
Breakfast is at Guest House Del Rey, located across the street. The breakfast room is not very big and there is not much variety. However, it is sufficient and of good quality. The employees are very friendly, especially Mr.Joaquim, who from the beginning was available to help us. Really amazing!
The location is excellent! The metro is at the door, allowing you to reach the center of Porto in a journey of 30 minutes, more or less. There are lots of restaurants and supermarkets close by! The beach is a 5-minute walk away.
In the end, we couldn't not recommend it. The prices are super affordable and the conditions are very good!
