Como la mayoría de las montañas y colinas del norte de Portugal , la Serra d'Arga proviene de afloramientos de granito, y todas las rocas existentes se derivan directa o indirectamente de esta roca magmática plutónica.
La montaña ofrece un paisaje que nos permite a ver el mar, el río Lima y el río Miño , la localidad portuguesa de Ponte de Lima, Caminha , la ciudad de Viana do Castelo, así como los pueblos españoles de Galicia .
The Serra d'Arga is a rise from mainland Portugal, rising to 825 meters above sea level (Alto do Espinheiro, Montana - Viana do Castelo). It is located in Alto Minho in the Peneda - Geres mountain range. It is the granite fountain.

Like most of the mountains and hills in northern Portugal, the Serra d'Arga comes from granite outcrops, and all existing rocks are derived directly or indirectly from this plutonic magmatic rock.
The mountain offers a landscape that allows us to see the sea, the Lima river and the Miño river, the Portuguese town of Ponte de Lima, Caminha, the city of Viana do Castelo, as well as the Spanish towns of Galicia.

No dia 28 de agosto, festeija-se a festa de S.Joao d'arga que junta centenas de pessoas em arraial minhoto.
NB cuidado com o bagaço com mel.....beba com moderação.
On foot or by bike for the more adventurous or not, this mountain is a wonder to enjoy nature.
On the 28th of August, the feast of S. João d'arga is celebrated, which gathers hundreds of people in a village in Minho.
NB be careful with the bagasse with honey ..... drink in moderation.
