Acredita-se que possa ter sido a sinagoga, por estar no centro da Judiaria velha e a arquitetura ser idêntica á das sinagogas do séc. XV. O único ponto discordante é o facto do Aron Kodesh não estar com a orientação devida, ou seja, Jerusalém. De qualquer forma é um local que merece ser visitado.
