Very easy and fast. Booked the car there and payed at the spot, ni problems, everything was as said, no changes were made to the reservation, which they almost always do… Location is also very good as it is close to the “main” hotels like Sheraton and Crown Plaza.

I took a one way trip from Lisbon to Porto. The dropping was pretty fast and Ms Diana was very kind and helpful to me (as it was the staff in Lisbon as well). There were no issues so considering this, it was only a smooth experience.

I also had a terrible experience just like some other people. I reserved a car months before arriving and still had to queue for over an hour to be seen by the single representative working there. This place is seriously understaffed and management need to address this sooner rather than later.

Getting the car required staying in line for a good 1 hour, thus plan ahead and get there as early as possible. But both the service and the vehicle were great, I have no complaints at all. They were super helpful, I got the type of car I wanted - as booked - and all the information and guidance they gave me really worked.

I rented with them 3 or 4 times now. Never had a problem. Workers are cordial and professional. Open every day, which can be key sometimes. Will definitely going back.

Convinced me to never rent from SIXT again… At pick up the agents stated that any superficial scratches will not be a concern. Once I returned the car the agent went over the car with a fine tooth comb looking for a scratch. There was a 3mm long and 1mm deep scratch on the tire where they noted this as an offense. If the damage was done by driver - it’s fair they charge for it. But I have been charged for that scratch nearly 300eur and that’s 2x the price of that exact new tire on the market. Never have I felt like a company was purposely trying to up charge me for no reason. And for those who will rent from them in the future I advise to document every single scratch big or small, if it’s on the body, windows or even tires.

This location is great! Bruno Ramos and the whole team are very friendly and honest. They explain everything in detail so you know up front what you're getting into and what charges if any there could be. Bruno and the team are very professional and go out of their way to upgrade your car if they can. They are very open and thorough documenting dings and scratches on the cars with you before you leave and you won't get any surprises. They upgraded me to a newer and nicer vehicle just for being a loyal customer after 4 visits. Plus, Sixt is great for covering all tolls and gas in a hassle-free and inexpensive way as add on services. I recommend this site in Porto and have had nothing, but good experiences there. I'm an American who has had little experience in Portugal with both the language, roads and other processes. Bruno and everyone at this Sixt station helped me feel right at home throughout the process. 5-stars all the way. -Scott

The best car hire experience I have ever had. Professional and courteous. The car was very clean and no pressure to upgrade insurance. A special mention for Bruno and Silvia. Bruno at the front desk, he explained everything about the hire and the toll roads was quick but thorough. And Silvia who showed us around the car and took us through the cars features, This high standard of service is a first for me and I will be using Sixt again next time I require a hire car.
