V	Valéria Murányi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked this place very much. The staff is very helpful and kind. They know everything about exhibition items and about history of Portugal and the colonies. I enjoyed the museum a lot. Actually the opening time is unusual, that's why quite difficult to get in.

Some rooms are being renovated, but the museum and the library are very cool. Staffs are so kind and helpful. Entrance fee is only 5euro with 50% discount for students.

There are exhibits including Portuguese-Indian furniture, two incredibly detailed and beautiful globes and the historic Portuguese hall, among others. If you love maps, you’ll fall in love with the globes :) The entrance fee is 5€, 2.5€ for students and 2€ for the elderly. Photography without flash is allowed. I got a 15 minute long personal tour in English included in the entrance fee. All staff members were extremely friendly.
