Have no idea why people rate this so high because the kitchen and its food is the most embarrassing and disgusting I had in all the years I am living in Portugal.
First of all had to wait about 40 minutes for our starters and then got a what I only describe as a bowl of fat, choco frito without taste and served with a sauce tasting like meat. Then the main courses meat over cooked, my wife got some dry meat with some sauce dumped over it and last but not least a francesinha that was realy a disaster, 2 slices of not toasted bread with all cold ingredients and a sauce which tasted like it came straight out of a pack.
Cheap, yes very cheap, just like the taste.
Feel bad for the waiters because they are realy doing their best and are doing a pretty good job.
Maybe for the owner an idea to charge a little more and take on some real cooks!!!
By the way, rated this one star and to be honest even this is much to much!
Would realy stay away from this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Portuguese cuisine at good value prices. Great little restaurant with plenty of locals getting takeaway. Ate here 2 nights of our 3 night stay. Had a white bean and seafood stew one night and sardines the following night. Plenty of meat and seafood options available. Well worth a visit
