A	Anne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positief: João en Mafalda zijn zo ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij en spreken goed Engels. Daarnaast kan Mafalda heerlijk koken, wij hebben twee keer in de avond gegeten. De kamer is ruim, het (smalle) bed comfortabel en de badkamer brandschoon. Het zwembad is fijn, zeker in de zomer. In de omgeving is veel te zien of te doen.. Negatief: Niets.
G	Gracinda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positif: le petit déjeuner était absolument délicieux et très copieux avec de la charcuterie, différents fromages, des confitures, des fruits, du pain , du gateau du jus de fruit et du très bon café. Mafalda et Joào sont absolument adorables et d'une grande gentillesse. Nous avons reçu un accueil formidable comme si l'on était de la famille. Le repas du soir préparé par Mafalda est à chaque fois un plaisir pour les papilles. Le vin servi avec soins par le"maestro" Joào est excellent!! l'établissement est un manoir qui a été restauré avec goût et beaucoup de charme. Les chambres sont confortables et la literie au top. Nous y avons séjourné une semaine, et avons eu le coeur serré lors de notre départ. nous n'oublirons pas les bons moments passés chez Mafalda et Joào. je précise en outre que le tarif du séjour est tout à fait correcte et j'encourage les personnes qui aiment le calme, la convivialité , la gentillesse et la bonne cuisine à se rendre dans ce petit village du nord du portugal. ALLEZ Y !!!!!! vous ne serez pas décus..

Atendimento feito pelos proprietários extremante simpáticos e que fazem as pessoas sentirem-se em família... Um jantar muito bom. Great place to rest. A village where silence reigns... Service provided by the extremely friendly owners who make people feel like family... A very good dinner.

It's great to see so much care and attention paid to the guests. Most of the other guests were repeat customers.. Negative: Tricky to find the car park..
A	Augusto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The Solar de Chacim is a very well maintained old family house, that was furnished to reinforce the epoch decoration. The facilities are very good for what one can expect at a rural location, and I found it perfect for a quiet get away. Breakfast is very good. The different spaces allow for relaxation (by the pool, in the balconies of the room or in general areas), at one of the many general rooms), some physical activity (pool, tennis court). There are several sites to visit at short distances (15-25 Km), or some historical villages within 50 Km, including the outstanding Douro cruises in Miranda d Douro, or the beaches in Azibo.. Negative: Little options for dinning outside the property (which is a bit pricy, even if deserved). We could find only a restaurant and a couple of cafés in the village itself (which we didn't try), a better restaurant refered to us by the owner 6 Km away..
